The Gudauri ski resort is unique because it is for all skiers – from beginners to professionals. There are 20 routes and lifts with approximately 70 km skiing area. There are different routes for beginner, intermediate, experienced and professional skiers.

The resort has unlimited freeride possibilities. All slopes are entirely above the tree line, are best for free-riders and are generally considered to be avalanche-safe. Artificial snow will guarantee the availability of red pistes during the season launch. Night skiing is also one of the best skiing activities for guests.
If extreme is not enough, heliski and paragliding is at your disposal. A cultural ski tour to Lomisa Mountains is one of the unique experiences you can have on the resort. The maximum exposure to the sun with the skiable area makes Gudauri one of the best places for extreme sports lovers.
Recently launched Kobi Pass ski area will guarantee the right snow conditions throughout the whole season that will also prolong the skiing period to the late spring.
In Gudauri, the summers are cool and mostly clear and the winters are long, freezing, snowy, and partly cloudy. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 6°F to 63°F and is rarely below -4°F or above 70°F.
Based on the tourism score, the best time of year to visit Gudauri for skiing usually lasts from November until March.
